Hello!
My name is Zachary McCutcheon, and I am a Sophomore Public Service and Public Policy student from Rancho Cucamonga, California. I recently returned from studying abroad through the Semester at Sea program visiting 16 countries on 3 continents, and am glad to be back to work at ASU.
The internship that I will be completing will be serving as a Senate Page for the Arizona State Senate for the 2015 Legislative Session.
Through my experiences in this internship I hope to better my understanding of the legislative process at the state level and be able to witness first hand the people who make the decisions that govern our state and to understand why said decisions are made. I also am very interested in learning the paths of how the senators became involved in public elected office, so that I too may one day serve in a similar capacity.
